I started purchasing the Kina slippers when my son was 12 months old. Hes now 3 and I had gotten him a new pair in the next size up. Well, they were technically from Santa and they were in my son’s stocking. When my son first put them on he said one shoe was tight. He often has sensory issues with socks so I thought thats what was happening but when he took them off later I noticed that the slippers have very different toe box shapes. One is narrow and pointed and one is wide and not pointed. I really wish I could link a picture here because it’s actually shocking how different they are. I emailed a picture of the slippers to Nui but have yet to hear back. Since this is a gift from Santa it’s a little confusing if I have to take them from my son to return them.
Love these!! They last forever with daily wear! All my grandsons have worn them from before they could walk until they outsized thru the years-probably 7 years old. We just kept getting a new pair each year for them to enjoy.
Already had peeling and my son only walked around the house for maybe 10 minutes. 😕
These are the only shoes we’ve owned (or needed!) for our baby thus far. Size 6-12 months has fit well since month 5; baby is now 10 months old and has a bit of room left in the shoes though the elastic ankle band is getting tighter. They’ve kept our baby’s feet warm in chilly fall weather during a trip to Ireland and are worn daily now that it’s winter here in California. We get so many comments on these shoes when we’re out. We purchased the dark brown and they’ve worn in well and, now that he’s crawling, we realize the dark color hides dirt and scuffs brilliantly. They will definitely be a treasured item destined for his baby box once he’s outgrown them.
I was searching for exactly these. Warm, soft, and stay on baby feet.
